I ordered this rain cover for my 65/15 rucksack. For the price, it is pretty fair quality but because I carry my tent on the outside of my rucksack it struggles to reach around the tent. Perhaps I was expecting too much. My only real criticism is the toggle to cinch up the para cord will not stay tight. sen. If the power cord was thicker than this feature would probably work perfectly.
I did toy with the idea of splicing, some thicker para cord onto the ends of the existing para cord but decided it was too much trouble. I have not used the rain cover yet but I’m sure it won’t be too long before it is exposed to wet weather. So, I think this is good value for the price even though I probably expected too much of it. If you carry your tent inside your rucksack then I’m sure this cover will be quite capable, but it would be nice if the poor cinching was addressed. It nicely compliments my green rucksack and provides additional protection for my belongings during downpours.
It packs away in its own pouch after use.
